Accessibility
Last updated 19 August 2026
This site is built to be usable by as many people as possible, and we treat accessibility failures as bugs rather than as nice-to-haves.
What's built in
- Reduced motion. The site respects your operating system's “reduce motion” setting. Animation, the generative background, video loops and scroll effects are stilled or removed when it's on.
- Motion controls. The background visualisation can be switched off entirely from the control at the bottom of the screen, and the choice is remembered.
- Sound is off by default and only ever plays after you turn it on.
- Keyboard. Interactive controls are reachable and operable by keyboard, with visible focus. Panels close with Escape.
- Structure. Content is written as real headings, lists and links so it works with screen readers and without CSS.
- Decorative media is hidden from assistive technology, and nothing conveys meaning through decoration alone.
Where we know we fall short
Some of the site's more expressive interactions, cursor-driven type effects and the case-study stage, are visual by nature. In every case the underlying content is available as ordinary text, but the experience is not equivalent.
