Building Formula 1's 13th team, in sim. A brand, interactive site, race series, and 3D world engineered to feel fast before the race begins.
The vision was a competitive motorsports experience with the identity, energy, and presentation of a professional racing organization. That required more than a logo or a basic event website.
It required a complete digital ecosystem where branding, competition, content, technology, and community could operate as one experience: a site rebrand, interactive website, user experience, race-series structure, and the supporting media around it.
Race info in one place, schedules in another, conversation somewhere else, promotion scattered across social. Each part works alone; the whole experience feels fragmented. Apex Predators needed a central platform that brought it together, communicating speed, competition, and credibility while staying accessible to drivers at every skill level.
The challenge wasn't to redesign a website. It was to design the experience of belonging to Apex Predators.
The central idea was simple: build the experience with the ambition of Formula 1's next team. Each event became part of an ongoing championship rather than an isolated race night. Drivers weren't joining sessions. They were entering a branded world with its own visual language, sound, pacing, and culture.
A racing brand should feel fast before the race even begins.Closing statement · Apex Predators
Formula FunCast is the broadcast side of the same world: championship coverage, news, race calendar, and the cast, with Discord as the room everyone watches in. It shares the Apex audience and hands viewers back to the race platform.
We reworked the brand from the ground up: typography, motion, 3D imagery, interface, and sound as one identity built to move. The interactive site became the hub: clear race information wrapped in a premium motorsports experience. Behind it, a race-series framework gave the season continuity and momentum.
Custom 3D renders and animation built anticipation. Sound design added tension. Game modding carried the brand onto the track itself. The experience didn't stop when a driver left the website. It continued into the race.
This is the race-control component from the Apex ecosystem, live on this page: next session, circuit, and championship, pulled from the same feeds the broadcast side uses.

The project established a stronger foundation for the brand, its race series, and its community experience.
The work gave Apex Predators a platform that could present the organization with greater consistency, ambition, and credibility, plus a system that can continue to evolve as the league grows.
